My name is Cody.
Thank you for stopping by! I am a photographer based out of Waukesha, WI and I am interested in capturing all of life's moments. If I am not shooting sports or special events I lace up my hiking boots and comb the woods for anything and everything.
Salt of the Earth
I am an average guy but I have led an amazing life thus far. I am an honorably discharged Army veteran who served in Afghanistan and I am in my late-30's. My wife and I share our loving home with 4 wonderful fur babies, 3 cats and a dog. In the future we plan on expanding our home to include children, but for now it gives us the opportunity to travel around the country on new adventures.
Having been through combat, I want to dedicate my spare time to showing the beauty of our world. We see so much ugliness nowadays with headlines and media. I want people to see the natural beauty around us which is often overlooked during our busy lives.
My Process
My photography may not be for everyone but I like what I do. When I am hiking or on my own I think to myself, "do I like this shot?" If the answer is no I delete it and move on. If I don't like it, odds are no one else will either. If I am shooting sports, I try to find the sweet spot in the action to give the most drama possible. It's the same with concerts. They say you can't hear a picture. I say you are not listening hard enough. With a concert, even if you don't know the performers, you should get the mood and the feel for the performance. With sports, you should hear the crack of a bat and the cheer of the crowd. That is what I want to provide.

02. Let's Plan it Out
I will consult with you on the project and put together a custom plan to fit your budget and vision and we will agree on price. At this point I will send over a contract and collect half of the agreed price up front.

03. Scouting and Shooting
I will research where I am shooting so I know locations I would like to shoot (shoot from in the event of sports and concerts). This will give a variety of lighting and scenery options. If possible I will scout the location in person for this as well.

04. Processing
Next up it's time for me to lock myself in a hole to process your images and make them go from good to amazing! This process can take a couple of weeks depending on my schedule and how many images I need to go through.

05. Delivery
Everything is done, you pay me the rest of my fee and your photos are delivered! I will make arrangements with you to deliver your photos in the method of your choosing.
